Welcome everyone. Please feel free to type your questions into this chat during Bruce's presentation. We will answer as many as possible during Q&A at the end.
can you elaborate on the architecture framework? how do they relate to Sysml..is it just another way to show diagrams using the Sysml language when relates to MBSE?
What, if any, future improvements to SysML are being discussed?
To what extent does this curriculum prepare students for OCSMP certification or not?
What are the pros and cons between SysML/UML, Functional Flow Block diagrams and its derivatives, and Object-Process Language?
Can you discuss what is a SysML stereotype and when to use them? When migh you create a new stereotype?
Bruce, in this Pegasus 'product' example, it appears, their is a 'scoping' unaddressed issue - for one example environment appears to only include the elevation and slope of terrain (not including: weather, traction which is independent in each tire AND includes independent load..."
Wow, thank you so much!
how does a SysML Model translate into or integrate with an Assembly/Model in a PDM system?
Hello Bruce. Thank you for the talk. In summary if possible in a couple of sentences "What does a good model smell like?". Thank you.
Bruce, there is a contrary view about a "master's course / academic pursuit' which does NOT map to utility for getting the daily job accomplished, which certification is aimed at. so why is there no effort to 'map' your course 'material' to certification?
Some context to the question, it is NOT a criticism of your work and time, rather that a two-way mapping of your course work with certification would improve / forcing function on certification.... and at the same time drive / force efforts at instantiation (tools, api's) which as you have stated, lag considerably compared to the efforts into creation of UML, SysML (and its precoursors )now going on 35 years....
Could you please share your perspective about the state of the art in MBSE integration and data interoperability? Most promising technologies, etc.
thanks for the talk!
Great talk! Thank you!
Awesome discussion. Thank you all!
